The Country’s largest power generator – NTPC Ltd. having installed capacity of 52946 MW, declared the financial results for the second quarter and half-year of financial year 2018-19.
For H1 FY19, NTPC generated 135.199 Billion Units against 129.457 Billion Units generated in the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase of 4.44%, represented by 5.742 Billion Units. For the H1 FY19, NTPC Coal stations achieved PLF of 75.29% as against National PLF of 60.67%.
On half-year basis, the Total Income of Rs. 45,325.94 crore for H1 FY19 showed an increase of 11.91% against the Total Income of Rs. 40,502.28 crore reported for the previous corresponding period. For H1 FY19, Profit before Tax is Rs. 5,645.81 and Profit after Tax is Rs. 5,014.16 crore.
The Total Income for the Q2 FY19 was Rs. 22,485.96 crore as against the Total Income of Rs. 19,960.35 crore in the Q2 FY18, registering an increase of 12.65%. For Q2 FY19, Profit before Tax is Rs. 2,634.68 crore and the Profit after Tax is Rs. 2,426.02 crore.
