EQ iSearch, a renowned Indian analysis agency, recently released the data on solar panels and inverters import in India, for the first quarter of 2021.

As the data confirmed, SOFARSOLAR ranked first in the single-phase inverter market, accounting for 26.9% of the market shares, and ranked third in the string and central inverter category, accounting for 12.5% of the market share, reinforcing the position of SOFARSOLAR in various market segments in the country.

Since 2015, SOFARSOLAR has developed a long-lasting strategy involving market understanding and strong R&D investment to adapt to the local power grid structure, PV policy and market environment, allowing entrance to the market as well as an organic and rapid growth.

In 2021, the PV market in India has shown a downward trend due to the impact of COVID-19 and the global economic environment, but thanks to continuous technology and innovation efforts in product development, SOFARSOLAR has gone against the current and continue to beat market records, not only providing customers with stable and reliable storage products, but also by consolidating its position as the market leader.

Mr. Brijesh Prajapati, Head of SOFARSOLAR India confirmed that, SOFARSOLAR will continue to play a leading role in the PV market in 2021 and beyond, focusing on three major aspects: stable and reliable products; customer high recognition; and local customer and partner services.

As a matter of fact, to be close to its customers and partners, SOFARSOLAR has developed a local strategy in India and set up a full marketing and service system that includes a supporting warehousing center, a sales center and an after-sales service center, to provide state of the art services to its partners and users.

Concomitantly, SOFARSOLAR’s focus on R&D facilitated the obtention of the required certification from the Indian BIS for the PV grid connected inverters and allowed to overcome the challenges in energy storage R&D technology.

SOFARSOLAR’s energy storage inverters have obtained the BIS certification (R-41156892) in 2020, laying a solid foundation for the company to further expand and deepen the energy storage market, while providing strong market support and quality assurance to local partners thus, strengthening the cooperation.

According to Mr. Brijesh Prajapati, SOFARSOLAR has been honored as “Indian Best Inverter Company” and “Top Brand Roof Inverter” since 2015 by renowned Indian agencies, and has become a popular household name and choice of inverter brand in India.

Mr Prajapati added that in the future, SOFARSOLAR will continue to play a major role in the Indian market offering and promoting innovative PV storage products, allowing more users to enjoy the economic benefits of clean energy.
