Consultancy and Validation Services for inclusion of DMRC Grid Connected Solar Power Project under the small scale CDM PoA as a CPA

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd. is installing Solar Panels in its station buildings, depots, colonies, Receiving Sub Station (RSS) and Metro Station Parking Area. So far, DMRC has already commissioned 6.22 MWp solar plants at its premise. Work of solar plant installation is under progress for additional 5.5 MWp capacity. Tenders have been awarded for another 20 MWp. These solar projects will reduce large amount of Greenhouse Gas emissions by replacing carbon intensive grid power with renewable energy. Hence, the project qualifies to generate Emission Reduction under Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of UNFCCC. DMRC intends to add as a Component Project Activity (CPA) to CDM Programme of Activities (PoA) with a aggregated capacity of upto 15 MWp.
